The CJK Bioinformatics Symposium started in 2002 which aims at promoting bioinformatics research activity in the three Asian countries through scientific exchange, training future talents and exploring new translational biomedical strategies to improve human health.

Attendants
- Four invited lecturers from each country, 12 in total.
- Two to three local invited speakers from organizer institute.
- Ten young investigators from each of the three countries, 30 in total.
- Young investigators are expected to be either graduate students, or postdocs, or researchers in bioinformatics or a related area, with fluent English.
- All young investigators are expected to present posters. And each country should select THREE representative young investigators to give oral talk at the symposium.

Cost and facility
The attendance fee is free. Lecturers and young investigators should cover their own travel expenses. Three days' lodging will be provided by SCBIT includring August 18th, 19th, and 20th.
